Keletso Community Development (KCD) is a NPC that is committed to providing solutions for sustainable community development. KCD is proud to be a Level 1 B-BBEE procurement recognition level Company.  To further our impact, KCD are registered service providers at the Cape Agency for Sustainable Integrated Development in Rural Areas (Casidra) – Casidra is a Provincial Government Enterprise in the Western Cape Government who aim to maximise agricultural and economic development opportunities in rural communities

KCD’s Objectives

KCD are committed to identifying challenges faced by our communities and implementing effective and sustainable solutions to overcome these challenges. To support this initiative, KCD have identified the following key objectives for future projects:

1. Look for effective, sustainable poverty alleviation solutions, aimed at raising the standard of living for all peoples, with a particular focus, where possible, on disabled people, unemployed youth and women;
2. Implement a strategy to reduce incidences of food insecurity by improving the capabilities of community members to access nutritious food;
3. Source opportunities for youth development to help unlock their potential and enable them to access further developmental opportunities;
4. Promote improved service access for community members;
5. Explore opportunities for spiritual and cultural development for tribal authorities;
6. Open access for community members for education, training, leadership and enterprise development;
7. Give greater access to women and people with disabilities in all development and support programmes implemented through KCD.
